Description

You will manage and administer a large-scale Cisco-based network infrastructure, including ACI, SDA, and ISE, while supporting statewide systems with Palo Alto firewalls.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cisco ACI, Software Defined Access (SDA), and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) in production environments.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to support statewide system security and connectivity.
• Integrate ACI with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent, ensuring proper VMM domain and endpoint group mappings.
• Create clear network diagrams, documentation, and architectural artifacts for complex infrastructure changes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using observability tools like ThousandEyes, Cyber Vision, and DNA Spaces.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Deep knowledge of ACI constructs including VRF, BD, EPG, ESG, L3Out, and contracts.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst platforms and SDA fabric technologies.
• Experience administering Cisco ISE, including TACACS+ configuration and policy-set based NAC.
• Solid command of core TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and network security fundamentals.
• Ability to work in mission-critical environments with strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with OpenShift and container networking (Cilium/Isovalent).
