Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networking solutions supporting life safety systems. You own the full lifecycle from research and installation to ongoing support and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design campus network extensions and assist with hardware deployment.
• Configure routers, firewalls, and software to meet business requirements.
• Monitor network resources for faults and traffic anomalies to resolve connection issues.
• Respond to Tier 1 and 2 support requests and perform break/fix tasks.
• Maintain architecture documentation, inventory records, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in General Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 5+ years of experience with VLAN Management.
• Hands-on experience with DHCP and DNS configuration.
• Practical experience configuring routers and firewalls.
• Ability to manage medium complexity work efforts independently.
• Strong technical communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline.
• Relevant industry certifications.
