Description

You will support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure in San Bernardino County, CA.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure network devices including switches, routers, and wireless access points during MDF/IDF and Aruba to Meraki WiFi refreshes.
• Triage support desk tickets to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on switches and routers, including patching and IOS updates.
• Monitor network equipment and WAN circuits, engaging vendors and service providers for resolution.
• Manage hardware lifecycles by wiping configurations from old equipment, updating inventory systems, and assisting with surplus disposal.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki switches and routers in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP, IP addressing, VLANs, and network routing protocols.
• Practical experience with wireless technologies.
• Proficiency with network diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of network security principles and firewalls.
• Ability to provide documentation and clear communication regarding technical issues.
• Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud networking.
