Description

You will manage and oversee enterprise LAN and wireless network infrastructure in a large-scale environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN and wireless network solutions, including detailed network diagrams and configurations.
• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage, configure, and optimize LAN switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
• Enforce security policies on LAN and wireless devices and collaborate with vulnerability teams to mitigate risks.
• Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades and manage OEM vendor relationships.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise LAN technologies including VLANs, STP, RSTP, EtherChannel, and QoS.
• Expertise in configuring and managing wireless networks such as Cisco or Juniper.
• Proficiency in routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, or Juniper MIST.
• Familiarity with 802.1X, RADIUS, and NAC solutions for wireless security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN, network automation tools like Python or Ansible, and cloud-based management platforms.
• CCNP, CWNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with DDI platforms like Infoblox and Zscaler Internet and Private Access.
