Description

You will serve as the final escalation point for complex network incidents, outages, and architecture decisions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues across SD-WAN, Firewalls, Wireless, Routing, and Switching technologies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions for network incidents.
• Execute network changes, migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities while ensuring security compliance.
• Lead technical bridge calls during major incidents and provide architecture-level inputs for network designs.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Network L3 support or senior engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Versa) and overlay/underlay troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in firewall management (Fortinet FortiGate preferred; Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco Firepower).
• Strong command of Routing & Switching (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus) including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with Wireless technologies (Cisco WLC, Meraki, Aruba) and RF troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with network automation using Python, Ansible, and APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP Enterprise, CCIE Enterprise, or Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 certifications.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
