Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead network design, planning, and execution for Data Center Exit migration to AWS EC2.
• Assess existing on-premise network architecture and define target-state network design in AWS.
• Design and implement AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
• Plan and manage hybrid connectivity using VPN and/or Direct Connect during phased migrations.
• Ensure seamless network connectivity for applications, databases, and TIBCO ESB integrations post-migration.
• Coordinate network changes, cutovers, and validation activities across migration waves.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues during migration, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security and compliance standards.
• Provide network documentation, runbooks, and handover to operations teams.

Skills Required:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in enterprise network design, operations, and cloud migration.
• Hands-on enterprise network operations with routing and switching in large-scale data center environments.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and DNS for production network services.
• Deep understanding of hybrid connectivity between on-premise data centers and AWS.
• Knowledge of network security concepts including segmentation, encryption, and access controls; ability to design highly available and resilient architectures.
• Experience supporting network requirements for Java and .NET applications, Oracle and SQL Server databases, and TIBCO ESB based integrations.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016-2025 and Linux environments including RHEL 7/8/9.
• Good to Have:
• Hands-on experience designing AWS network architectures for EC2-based workloads.
• Experience implementing AWS VPC designs, Transit Gateways, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Understanding of network considerations for Oracle Exadata on AWS and application connectivity.
• Experience supporting network integration for middleware and batch processing platforms; managing hybrid/transitional network states during phased migrations.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking performance, latency, and resiliency considerations.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
