Description

Lead network operations and serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical problems and provide mentorship to support team members.
• Coordinate operational activities across LAN/WAN, DDI, and Unified Communications.
• Develop and oversee IT procedures using ITIL methodologies for continuous improvement and automation.
• Monitor network systems to proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve client needs.
• Optimize network operations for efficiency, security, and scalability through improved tooling.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT environments, including significant MSP or MSSP exposure.
• Deep hands-on expertise with routing, switching, and network connectivity (MPLS, P2P, VPN, remote access).
• Proficiency in DDI services, including DNS and DHCP.
• Experience managing firewall configurations, network security, proxies, and load balancing.
• Technical knowledge of Cisco data network equipment, Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks services.
• Experience with virtualization technology and hybrid infrastructure deployments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proven ability to manage projects and build technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Network Access Controls (NAC) and WAN Optimization.
• Familiarity with Voice and multi-service gateways.
