Description

You will develop and maintain software focused on network management systems. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain systems within UNIX and RedHat Linux environments.
• Implement and support network protocols including SNMP MIBS, Syslog, NetFlow, and TACACS.
• Handle SNMP Traps and configure alerting mechanisms.
• Manage data integrity within MySQL, Postgres, and Vertica databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with UNIX and RedHat Linux systems administration.
• Deep understanding of SNMP MIBS and SNMP Traps.
• Working knowledge of Syslog and NetFlow protocols.
• Experience with TACACS authentication.
• Proficiency with MySQL and Postgres databases.
• Experience with Vertica databases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network security protocols beyond TACACS.
