Oversee network operations and lead a technical team in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct a cohesive network team to meet operational goals.
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend training and development.
• Oversee LAN, WAN, and SAN environment operations.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
• Communicate technical requirements and instructions clearly in written and verbal forms.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in networking and system administration.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware and protocols.
• Proficiency with Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
• Technical knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN).
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Experience managing and leading technical staff.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications (CCNA or CCNP).
• Microsoft Windows Server certifications.
• Experience with backup systems, disaster recovery, and emergency preparedness.
