You will lead the network section and manage the organization's network infrastructure and server systems.
Responsibilities
Manage network section staff, including performance evaluations, professional development, and training recommendations.
Oversee the administration, maintenance, and upgrades of all servers, storage area networks (SANs), and backup systems.
Maintain the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and disaster recovery and continuity plans in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
Develop IT budgets, capital expenditure plans, and multi-year hardware and software refresh strategies.
Manage contracts for network managed services and professional services while performing capacity and resource planning.
Required Skills
8+ years of professional experience in network management or related roles.
Thorough knowledge of network operations including LAN, WAN, and SANs.
Experience managing, directing, and motivating technical teams in a collaborative environment.
Proven ability to manage server infrastructure, backup systems, and disaster recovery protocols.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors, departments, and leadership.
Experience with capacity planning, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
Preferred Skills
Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
Microsoft Windows Server administration experience.
