Description

You will lead the network section, managing the organization's infrastructure, server systems, and staff.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage network section staff, including performance evaluations, professional development, and training.
• Oversee administration, maintenance, and upgrades of servers, SANs, and backup systems.
• Maintain LAN, WAN, and disaster recovery plans in coordination with cybersecurity.
• Develop IT budgets, capital expenditure plans, and hardware/software refresh strategies.
• Manage contracts for managed services and perform capacity and resource planning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in network management or related roles.
• Thorough knowledge of LAN, WAN, and SAN operations.
• Experience managing and directing technical teams in a collaborative environment.
• Proven ability to manage server infrastructure, backup systems, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Experience with capacity planning, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Microsoft Windows Server administration experience.
