Description

Manage day-to-day operations of network monitoring tools and ensure accurate inventory of monitored devices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain multiple monitoring tools to ensure they meet operational needs.
• Analyze data to optimize monitoring processes and propose enhancements to network monitoring infrastructure.
• Streamline operations by automating repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, Git, and ITIL practices to increase efficiency.
• Support senior engineers in building and migrating the tools environment for seamless monitoring solution delivery.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance network monitoring capabilities and serve as a trusted advisor.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a network monitoring engineer managing network monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with LogicMonitor, NetBrain, ThousandEyes, and BigPanda.
• Strong command of Python, Bash, and Git for automation and scripting.
• Understanding of CCNA networking concepts and ITIL processes.
• Experience working on complex projects in an international environment.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent corporate working experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynatrace, various logging solutions, Syslog, and log collection/analytics.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Microsoft Azure IaC, and Prisma Cloud IaC.
