Description

You will provide 24x7 support for global production network infrastructure, executing proactive routines to prevent service impacts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and perform proactive checks to avoid or limit service outages.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults to restore service when incidents occur.
• Develop root cause flow charts and troubleshooting procedures based on incident evaluations.
• Complete checklists to ensure operational readiness for new network service deployments.
• Execute service requests and coordinate proactive maintenance activities.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, Layer 2, and Layer 3 switching concepts.
• Working knowledge of network management tools.
• Familiarity with multicast and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to perform routine network analysis and coordinate vendor activities.
• Strong verbal and written customer service skills.
• Experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to support on weekends and off-hours.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as JNCIA or CCNA.
• Experience within the financial industry.
