Manage and resolve Tier II network, circuit, and telephony issues within the enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve Tier II network, circuit, and telephony issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain network service devices, telecommunications, and LAN/WAN hardware and software.
- Track and manage network events through to resolution following Incident Management Procedures.
- Work with vendors to escalate trouble tickets and determine root causes for outages or chronic issues.
- Create documentation and conduct training for Service Desk and support teams regarding new hardware or services.
Required Skills
- Minimum of one year of network operations experience.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, and network topologies.
- Experience with network operating systems and computer operating systems.
- Understanding of network hardware, telecommunication systems, and data privacy.
- Working knowledge of network services availability, performance, and security.
- Ability to implement network security policies and procedures.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with point of sale and payment systems.
- Working knowledge of ARM, Orion, NNMi, and BSM tools.
