Description

Manage and resolve Tier II network, circuit, and telephony issues within the enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve Tier II network, circuit, and telephony issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network service devices, telecommunications, and LAN/WAN hardware and software.
  • Track and manage network events through to resolution following Incident Management Procedures.
  • Work with vendors to escalate trouble tickets and determine root causes for outages or chronic issues.
  • Create documentation and conduct training for Service Desk and support teams regarding new hardware or services.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of one year of network operations experience.
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, and network topologies.
  • Experience with network operating systems and computer operating systems.
  • Understanding of network hardware, telecommunication systems, and data privacy.
  • Working knowledge of network services availability, performance, and security.
  • Ability to implement network security policies and procedures.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with point of sale and payment systems.
  • Working knowledge of ARM, Orion, NNMi, and BSM tools.
