Description

Monitor and maintain network systems, servers, and applications to ensure availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network and system issues in real time.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity.
• Manage escalation procedures and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Perform root-cause analysis for outages and recommend preventative measures.
• Track incident tickets, documentation, and status reports.

Required Skills

• 12+ years experience in NOC or network engineering operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto network hardware.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, Wireshark.
• Experience in ITIL-based service management environments.
• Ability to analyze logs, performance metrics, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Experience supporting AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
