Description

Own the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on routing, segmentation, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot VLAN-based network segmentation to ensure connectivity across network domains.
• Manage dynamic routing operations using BGP and OSPF, including route validation, policy behavior, and convergence analysis.
• Provide network security guidance and support for secure traffic flows, including firewall and VPN connectivity troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve production network incidents using logs, packet captures, and routing/forwarding verification.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan network changes, perform impact analysis, and execute controlled rollouts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering and routing/security operations.
• Deep expertise in BGP and OSPF routing protocols, including route propagation and convergence validation.
• Hands-on experience with VLAN configuration, troubleshooting, and segmentation.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking for advanced switching and routing scenarios.
• Experience with network security fundamentals, including firewall and VPN connectivity.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex network incidents using packet captures and logs.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SDN (Software-Defined Networking) for programmable networking and automation concepts.
• Experience supporting secure connectivity patterns in large-scale enterprise environments.
