Description

You will manage operational network maintenance, implement changes, and perform daily network checks. Responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd line technical support, incident management, and hardware monitoring. You will monitor circuits and hardware, report carrier issues, and manage hardware RMAs. The role requires handling alert remediation, fault management, and tuning of monitoring systems. You will participate in shift rotations, command center bridges, and root cause analysis for incidents. Additionally, you will execute ServiceNow requests following the established change management cycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational network maintenance and implement changes.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and incident management.
• Monitor circuits and hardware, managing carrier issues and RMAs.
• Handle alert remediation, fault management, and monitoring system tuning.
• Execute ServiceNow requests within the change management cycle.

Required Skills

• 4 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or support roles.
• Proficiency with Cisco routing and switching technologies and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Working knowledge of Cisco NX-OS and Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with Zscaler cloud and cloud computing network domains.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers, and WAN accelerators.
• Experience with F5 load balancers.
