Description

You provide Tier 1 carrier operational support for Cisco and Juniper routing and switching devices, handling network discovery, audits, and configuration generation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform network discovery, audits, and generate router configurations using collected data.
• Validate device configurations and write detailed Methods of Procedure (MoPs) for deployments and upgrades.
• Produce technical documentation, including design documents and operational MoPs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco and Juniper network routers.
• Participate in DevOps design reviews to identify audit opportunities for platform updates.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network infrastructure and consolidation projects.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience covering design, migrations, and operations.
• Deep hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper router devices.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 3 protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
• Proficiency with XML, Netconf, and Yang.
• Experience conducting DevOps design reviews and network auditing.
• Ability to create and execute technical MoPs.
