Description

You will manage network changes and maintenance to support growing customer demands while minimizing service impact.

Responsibilities

• Implement network changes and planned maintenance following established engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot Tier III escalation requests and complex Layer 2 switching issues.
• Manage change documentation and coordinate maintenance activities across the organization.
• Monitor network KPIs to recommend proactive configuration improvements and automation opportunities.
• Participate in a shift rotation (4 months nights, 8 months days) with weekend on-call every 8 weeks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network operations or engineering.
• Proficiency with MikroTik RouterOS.
• Hands-on experience with DNS, SNMP, RADIUS, and TFTP.
• Experience managing firewalls and virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox).
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking and switching.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and traverse stairs or uneven ground.
• Capacity to work at a desk for extended periods.
