Network Planner IV

Manage the sourcing, selection, and maintenance of Ethernet over optical networks from telecom carriers.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure lit fiber Ethernet services that meet specific routing and redundancy requirements.
• Design and implement Ethernet over optical networks while maintaining detailed network diagrams and documentation.
• Manage the lifecycle of Ethernet services, including EPL and wavelength services, from initial order through installation and testing.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless service integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network planning or carrier management.
• Direct experience with wavelength services (Ethernet) or EPL / Carrier Ethernet.
• Proficiency in analyzing KMZ files for path routing and redundancy validation.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate complex system and network requirements.
• Experience overseeing circuit delivery, including performance and reliability testing.
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in data processing or a related field.
