Description

You will support the supervision of FTIs equipment and service order installation and activation.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document formal acceptance testing of FTIs products and services per program requirements.
• Implement scheduled network maintenance events and execute coordinated Maintenance Request activities.
• Troubleshoot and validate communication circuits per IEEE, ITU, TIA, ISO, and FTIs specifications.
• Manage service disconnects throughout the established Network/CPE via program processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external providers to resolve implementation and acceptance issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Intermediate level experience troubleshooting IP network configurations (CCNAs or equivalent).
• Domain knowledge of TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and Ethernet.
• Experience with network vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, or RAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database modeling software such as MetaSolv.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical procedures.
• Capability to obtain a security clearance.
• Willingness to support flexible work schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shift rotations.
