Description

You will supervise FTIs equipment and service order installation, activation, and formal acceptance testing. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and document formal acceptance testing of FTIs products and services per program requirements.
  • Implement scheduled network maintenance events and execute coordinated Maintenance Request activities.
  • Troubleshoot and validate communication circuits per IEEE, ITU, TIA, ISO, and FTIs specifications.
  • Manage service disconnects throughout the established Network/CPE via program processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and external providers to resolve implementation and acceptance issues.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Intermediate level experience troubleshooting IP network configurations (CCNA or equivalent).
  • Domain knowledge of TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, and MSDP.
  • Experience with network vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, or RAD.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database modeling software such as MetaSolv.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical procedures.
  • Willingness to support flexible work schedules, including 2nd or 3rd shift rotations.

Preferred Skills

  • Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and project schedules.
