Good to Have Skills: Experience with Ekahau and AirMagnet tools for wireless surveys. Knowledge of SNMP, syslog, and network monitoring dashboards. Understanding of DHCP resilience and failover mechanisms. Expertise in Aruba WLAN solutions and cloud wireless platforms. Strong background in QoS implementation, roaming optimization, and load balancing in wireless networks. Familiarity with heatmap creation and capacity planning for enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement reliable wireless architectures using APOS deployment models for enterprise environments.
• Configure VLAN tagging, trunking, and routing on access points to support multi-SSID environments efficiently.
• Perform root cause analysis for network outages and implement corrective actions to improve system uptime.
• Monitor network health using SNMP, syslog, and dashboards to ensure 99.9% or higher availability standards.
• Conduct comprehensive wireless site surveys using tools like Ekahau and AirMagnet for optimal coverage planning.
• Perform RF coverage analysis, create detailed heatmaps, and conduct capacity planning for enterprise wireless deployments.
• Identify and mitigate RF interference, dead zones, and co-channel interference issues in wireless networks.
• Implement redundancy and failover mechanisms including controller and access point failover with DHCP resilience.
• Execute wireless troubleshooting for latency, packet loss, and roaming issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Validate network performance against SLA requirements and user density expectations in enterprise environments.
• Recommend optimal access point placement, power levels, and channel assignments for maximum coverage and performance.
• Optimize RF performance and channel utilization to reduce interference and improve overall network reliability.
