Description

You will design, implement, and maintain reliable wireless network architectures for enterprise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy wireless architectures using APOS models, configuring VLAN tagging, trunking, and routing for multi-SSID environments.
• Conduct comprehensive wireless site surveys using Ekahau or AirMagnet to create heatmaps and perform capacity planning.
• Perform RF coverage analysis and interference mitigation to resolve dead zones and co-channel interference issues.
• Execute root cause analysis for network outages, optimizing QoS, roaming, and load balancing to meet SLA requirements.
• Monitor network health via SNMP, syslog, and dashboards to ensure high availability and implement redundancy mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network reliability or wireless engineering.
• Deep expertise in APOS deployment models and 802.11 standards (WPA2/WPA3).
• Proficiency in VLAN configuration, trunking, and routing on access points.
• Strong background in RF analysis, interference identification, and channel optimization.
• Experience with network monitoring tools including SNMP, syslog, and dashboard visualization.
• Knowledge of DHCP resilience, failover mechanisms, and controller/AP redundancy.
• Ability to troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and roaming issues in enterprise settings.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Ekahau and AirMagnet for wireless site surveys.
• Expertise in Aruba WLAN solutions and cloud wireless platforms.
