Description

You will configure and manage Cisco SD-WAN edge routers, switches, and client devices across multi-cloud environments. You will conduct customer site analysis, capture network surveys, and prepare technical recommendations for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cisco cEdge and vEdge routers, including onboarding to SD-WAN controllers (vBond, vSmart, vManage) in HA environments.
• Manage SD-WAN templates, control connections, PNP portal, BFD, IPsec tunnels, and SIG tunnels.
• Deploy and troubleshoot white-box solutions (Viptela, Velocloud, Versa), vNFs, and hardware components like WAN accelerators and LTE modems.
• Lead network build bridges, coordinate with remote technicians, and perform root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Document activation activities, maintain client communication, and support shift-based operations including weekends.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SD-WAN.
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela mandatory; Velocloud/Versa desirable).
• Deep knowledge of OMP, DTLS, IPsec, Secure Internet Gateway tunnels, and Cisco vRouter in multi-cloud setups.
• Strong expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, L3VPN/L2VPN, QoS, MPLS, VRRP, and VRF.
• Experience with Azure ExpressRoute, Cloud-on-Ramp, DIA, Zone-based firewall, IPS, AMP, and Umbrella.
• Proficiency in creating and updating LLD/HLD documentation.
• CCNP/CCIE level certification or equivalent vendor certification required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco SD-Access and wireless network administration.
• Knowledge of NetConf, NMS, and OSS/BSS protocols.
• Scripting capabilities for network automation and troubleshooting.
