Description

You will manage and monitor security measures to protect information systems and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments including reviews of account permissions, data access, and security violations.
• Implement security plans for computer systems in collaboration with agency personnel and external vendors.
• Develop protection plans for computer configurations and data files against unauthorized modification or disclosure.
• Monitor systems and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to data systems and databases.
• Support the development of IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in information security.
• Deep understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework.
• Proficiency with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
• Knowledge of Texas Information Security Standards.
• Experience with risk management and information security frameworks.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision using independent judgment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in security systems design and implementation.
