You will secure information systems and computer networks against hackers and cyber-attacks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and server logs to identify unusual activity.
• Identify network vulnerabilities and provide remediation recommendations.
• Investigate security breaches and develop response strategies.
• Conduct authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets.
• Participate in incident response and a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in network security methodologies and computer networking protocols.
• 2+ years of experience with vulnerability scanning using Tenable/Nessus.
• 2+ years of experience detecting intrusions via technologies such as Snort.
• 2+ years of experience with network analysis tools like nmap and fuzzing.
• 2+ years of experience in penetration testing principles, tools, and techniques.
• 2+ years of experience with system administration and OS hardening for Unix/Linux, IOS, Android, and Windows.
• 2+ years of experience managing host and network access control mechanisms.
• 2+ years of experience with systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques.
• 2+ years of experience applying cybersecurity principles regarding CIA, authentication, and non-repudiation.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Tenable/Nessus administration, operation, and vulnerability management.
