Description

Design and implement security architectures for hybrid environments, including private clouds, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.

Responsibilities

• Develop security architectural principles using Zero Trust patterns, the Cybersecurity kill chain, and enterprise best practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution designers to integrate security controls into all solution designs.
• Map identified security risks to industry standard frameworks within an enterprise context.
• Recommend end-to-end security controls to mitigate potential risks while considering cost, impact, and timescales.
• Steer security solutions within the broader architecture without dictating detailed design delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in technology-based roles interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Expertise in security architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, and OSA.
• Practical experience with authentication, strong authorization, key management, cryptography, and API management.
• Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, container security, and microservices security.
• Proven ability to define security for hybrid solutions in managed datacenters and cloud environments.
• Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools like ArchiMate and Lucidchart.
• Strong background in Network Design and Information Security.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CISA, or Sherwood Applied Security Engineering (SASE) certifications.
