You will design, deploy, and secure enterprise LAN networks while automating provisioning and validating hardware in lab environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable LAN solutions and manage network security controls including firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and segmentation.
• Perform remote configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of CPE such as IP routers and Layer 2/3 switches across multi-vendor environments.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration tasks using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to reduce manual errors.
• Execute comprehensive lab-based testing of new and existing network hardware, including firmware validation, interoperability testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, specifically Cisco and Juniper platforms.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts including VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Proven experience deploying and managing enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Juniper SRX) for policy design and threat mitigation.
• Proficiency in network automation frameworks and scripting using Python, Ansible, and Bash.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SNMP and packet capture/analysis.
• Familiarity with WAN technologies including MPLS, Metro Ethernet, and SD-WAN.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with rack/stack, cabling, and OS imaging for lab emulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, multi-vendor environments.
