Description

Own the automation, deployment, and operation of enterprise firewall and network security services across global data centers and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions (Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper) across data centers, offices, and edge environments.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for firewall deployment and policy management using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and GitHub.
• Deploy and manage virtual firewall solutions in AWS and Azure, supporting cloud security and SD-WAN transformation initiatives.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network security incidents, performing upgrades, patching, and log analysis within a rotating on-call model.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and network engineering teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms including Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower (FTD/FMC), or Juniper SRX.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools: Ansible, Terraform, Python, GitHub, Jenkins, REST APIs, Jinja2, and YAML.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching, ACLs, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, and DNS.
• Experience with cloud security deployment in AWS and Azure environments.
• Ability to analyze security events and logs to identify and resolve network vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with advanced routing and switching troubleshooting (VRF, VXLAN) and network security management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies.
