Description

You will design, implement, and manage network security technologies across data centers, offices, and edge environments. You will automate security infrastructure and maintain appliances to reduce manual intervention.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage network security services and appliances (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper) including upgrades and lifecycle activities.
• Build and manage security infrastructure using DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Support security operations including monitoring, analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Evaluate security advisories and provide timely recommendations and mitigations.
• Develop operational processes, runbooks, and documentation for ongoing support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, Internet technologies, IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, and DNS.
• Experience with network security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), or Juniper SRX.
• Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools: GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, Jinja2, YAML.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience with cloud network security services and connectivity in AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, ACLs, and encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE), CISSP, or GIAC.
• Experience participating in a global "follow-the-sun" on-call support rotation.
