Description

Manage and secure network infrastructure through design, implementation, and continuous hardening.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures using Cisco and Hirschmann devices.
• Configure and maintain firewalls and IPS using Cisco, Fortigate, or Palo Alto hardware.
• Harden switches, firewalls, and systems following industry best practices.
• Implement Network Access Control (NAC) and vulnerability management protocols.
• Manage network monitoring systems and oversee log collection for SIEM and 2FA solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Hirschmann switching and routing.
• Expertise in configuring Cisco, Fortigate, or Palo Alto firewalls and IPS.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as WhatsUpGold and SolarWinds.
• Experience implementing NAC and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of NIDS and network visibility solutions.
• Experience with log collection for SIEM and 2FA environments.
• CCNP, CCIE, Fortigate, Palo Alto, or Juniper certifications.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-vendor firewall environments.
