Description

You will own the configuration, monitoring, and security of the organization's network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, network segments, routing protocols, and wireless networking.
• Monitor network performance and availability, responding to incidents including connectivity issues and security alerts.
• Assist in configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
• Configure and monitor SIEM platforms for security anomalies and escalate incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning, remediation, and the maturation of cybersecurity incident response plans.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Proficiency configuring LANs, VLANs, trunks, spanning tree, IP subnetting, and routing protocols.
• Experience configuring firewalls, including security rules, NAT, threat protection, and logging.
• Proficiency with IDS/IPS and SIEM tools, security event triage, and escalation.
• Ability to perform and analyze packet traces.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, or similar.
• Familiarity with NAC systems, next-generation firewalls, VPNs, micro segmentation, and IAM.
