Description

You will configure, secure, and maintain network infrastructure and security appliances for the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing protocols, and network segments to ensure connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and availability using management tools, resolving incidents and performance degradation.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances, including rule configuration and NAT.
• Monitor SIEM platforms for security anomalies, triage events, and escalate incidents according to procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and vulnerability scanning remediation efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency with TCP/IP, routing, switching, LANs, VLANs, trunks, spanning tree, and IP subnetting.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, including security rules, NAT, threat protection, and logging.
• Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS and SIEM tools for security event triage and escalation.
• Ability to perform and analyze packet traces.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles including defense in depth, least privilege, and CIA triad.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, PCNSA, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and NAC systems.
