Description

You will maintain, monitor, and optimize network infrastructure and cybersecurity tools to ensure safe and efficient operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, network segments, routing protocols, and wireless networking.
• Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents, including connectivity issues, performance degradation, and security alerts.
• Assist in the configuration and management of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms for security anomalies.
• Support vulnerability scanning, remediation efforts, and incident response plan maturation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles.
• Proficiency configuring LANs, VLANs, trunks, spanning tree, IP subnetting, and routing protocols.
• Experience with firewalls to configure and troubleshoot security rules, NAT, threat protection, and logging.
• Experience with IDS/IPS and SIEM tools, security event triage, and escalation.
• Ability to perform and analyze packet traces.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CCNP or PCNSA.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and cybersecurity technologies like NAC, micro-segmentation, and encryption.
