Description

You will design, implement, and manage secure data communications networks and defense-in-depth solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer data security network implementations through project-based installation and troubleshooting.
• Lead migrations from legacy network security platforms to next-generation technologies.
• Develop graphical and text-based design documentation and manage implementation through to acceptance.
• Assist internal groups with capacity planning, monitoring, and review of secure data communications networks.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve end-user problems and implement configuration guidelines, change management, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking and network security.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security certification.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for network security products and threat remediation.
• Experience with capacity planning and secure network monitoring.
• Ability to generate project status reports and lead weekly technical meetings.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security certification.
• Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) certification.
