Description

Design, implement, and operate enterprise network security solutions across traditional, virtualized, and cloud environments. Manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, SaaS Inline Security, and AI Access Security controls to secure application traffic and enforce data protection policies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tune Palo Alto Networks firewalls, SaaS Inline Security, and AI Access Security for real-time threat prevention and data loss prevention.
• Define and enforce security policies for SaaS and AI application access, aligning with corporate risk tolerance and industry best practices.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, performing continuous optimization of controls and troubleshooting complex network issues at the protocol level.
• Design, deploy, and maintain IPSec VPN solutions (site-to-site and remote access) and integrate complementary platforms like F5 WAF and CASB.
• Develop technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational runbooks while applying security frameworks such as NIST and Cybersecurity Kill Chain.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, routing, switching, segmentation, and traffic filtering.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies: firewalls, IPSec VPNs, IDS/IPS, proxies, DLP, CASB, NAC, and micro-segmentation.
• Proficiency in protocol-level troubleshooting (TCP/UDP, IP, ARP, DNS, HTTP/S) and break-fix remediation.
• Experience with SIEM, next-generation breach detection platforms, and network deception technologies.
• Programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, or Perl for automation and tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of managing IT projects from concept through production rollout.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating SaaS Inline Security and AI Access Security capabilities.
• Familiarity with F5 WAF integration and cloud security architectures.
