Description

You will design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including WAN/LAN, firewalls, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures using hardware and software switches, firewalls, and routers.
• Identify network problems, isolate root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote access VPNs.
• Ensure proper operation of routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Develop standard operating procedures and design guides for technology implementation.

Required Skills

• Experience architecting, designing, installing, and configuring WAN/LAN networks.
• CCNA or CCNP certification (Routing & Switching).
• In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and OSI model.
• Cisco IOS command-line experience.
• Proficiency with IP routing, QoS, traffic engineering, DNS, DHCP, and HSRP.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of switches, routers, and boundary protection devices like firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with VPN technologies such as MPLS and transparent firewalls.
• Working knowledge of Linux distributions, Windows Server, and hypervisors.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of IP multicast (PIM).
