Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own the integrated delivery plan covering CIS hardening, firewall rule remediation, security standards, governance and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate remediation activities across network, security, change-management, application-owner and delivery teams.
• Manage the prioritised remediation backlog based on security risk, business impact, maintenance-window availability and stakeholder approvals.
• Track firewall rule reviews, remediation actions, approved exceptions, CIS closure and validation evidence.
• Ensure Palo Alto firewall changes comply with enterprise change-management, CAB and production-approval processes.
• Coordinate application-owner validation for firewall rules with potential business or connectivity impact.
• Monitor dependencies involving FireMon, vulnerability-assessment inputs, Panorama availability, maintenance windows and stakeholder decisions.
• Produce governance reporting, security-posture scorecards, RAID logs, decision records and executive status updates.
• Develop and maintain firewall standards, governance RACI, SOPs, operational runbooks and handover artefacts.
• Drive formal acceptance of deliverables and transition ownership to operational security teams.

Skills Required:

• 10 - 14 years of experience in network security engineering, firewall governance, vulnerability remediation or cybersecurity delivery.
• Hands-on understanding of enterprise Palo Alto firewall environments and Palo Alto Panorama administration.
• Strong network security experience covering firewall rule lifecycle, security governance and remediation controls.
• Practical experience with vulnerability and configuration assessment processes, CIS security benchmarks and remediation validation.
• Experience coordinating firewall policy management through FireMon or a comparable firewall policy-management platform.
• Strong understanding of enterprise change management, CAB processes, production approvals and maintenance windows.
• Ability to coordinate technical remediation across application, infrastructure, network and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Experience managing security risks, dependencies, exceptions, escalations, executive reporting and measurable security-posture metrics.

Good to Have:

• Cybersecurity programme experience or familiarity with broader cybersecurity operating models.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL Foundation, Security+, CISSP or CISM certification.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline preferred
