Description

You will evaluate, implement, and support network security solutions within enterprise environments, including NGFWs, IDS/IPS, proxies, and load balancers. You will lead the development of secure network architectures aligned with organizational standards and manage platform operational stability, performance, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, enforcing security standards and controls across all infrastructure components.
• Manage the lifecycle of security devices, including patching, upgrades, redundancy planning, and license management.
• Troubleshoot complex security incidents, network outages, and performance issues, providing Level 3 support and contributing to on-call rotations.
• Automate deployment and management tasks using scripting and configuration management tools to ensure platform efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members, contribute to standardization efforts, and stay updated on emerging threats and product releases.

Required Skills

• 5-12 years of experience in network security engineering within large enterprise environments, preferably financial institutions.
• Strong expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), load balancers (F5), IDS/IPS, proxies, DNS, and certificates.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Ansible and Python for deployment and management.
• Deep understanding of virtualization and containerization platforms: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware ESXi, KVM, and OpenStack.
• Experience with network security products such as Bluecoat, Pulse Secure, HAProxy, Squid, and PFSense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of cloud network security solutions and services.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Chef and other configuration management tools.
• Experience with cloud-native network security services in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to open-source security solutions and service mesh architecture.
