Description

You will manage and secure network infrastructure through firewall administration, IDS/IPS management, and WAF configuration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls, including policy auditing and rule consolidation.
• Deploy, manage, and tune IDS/IPS solutions to detect and mitigate network threats.
• Manage F5 ASM WAF solutions to protect web applications from SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and DDoS attacks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.
• Develop automation scripts to enhance monitoring and response capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls, including Panorama and JunOS.
• Proficiency with IDS/IPS technologies such as Snort, Suricata, or Palo Alto Threat Prevention.
• Experience configuring and managing F5 ASM or similar WAF solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and VPN.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC, CISSP, or CEH.
• Familiarity with SIEM and vulnerability management tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Tenable Security Center.
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation.
