Description

You will design, build, and support complex network security solutions across an enterprise environment, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with Australian Government standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network security architectures.
• Engineer and support Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, Check Point).
• Troubleshoot BGP load balancing, VPN technologies, and IPS/IDS systems.
• Detect, analyse, and respond to security threats and incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams on secure network design and delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, load balancing, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with IPS and IDS detection and analysis.
• Ability to ensure compliance with Australian Government security standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network environments.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, F5, or Infoblox.
