Description

Design and maintain scalable client device architecture for complex research applications and high-throughput data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions including KACE SDA/SMA, SCCM, and Intune for automated provisioning, patching, and software deployment.
• Architect VDI or DaaS solutions to support remote high-compute access for researchers.
• Deploy Nexthink for proactive monitoring and automated healing of the device environment.
• Configure Active Directory structures, security groups, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for lab device access.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLA compliance and overseeing project scopes and timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and endpoint management.
• Proficiency with SCCM and software deployment automation.
• Experience with KACE SDA/SMA and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, and directory services.
• Ability to evaluate and standardize hardware including GPUs and VR/AR equipment.
• Experience with VDI/DaaS architecture and virtualization.
• Background in security policy enforcement and risk mitigation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Nexthink or similar endpoint monitoring tools.
