Description

You will manage day-to-day Next Gen firewall administration and Web Application Firewall operations to protect network infrastructure and web applications from cyber threats.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Next Gen firewall policy management, rule tuning, and health monitoring.
• Operate WAFs across API security, DNS, and cloud environments, including zone migrations and cutover validation.
• Develop automation scripts to improve WAF operations and create dashboards for KPI reporting on coverage and rule effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Network Security, DevOps, and IT teams to implement security policies and resolve incidents.
• Maintain platform documentation, configuration baselines, and support internal and external audits.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity with hands-on expertise in Next Gen Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls.
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API security principles, and the web application threat landscape.
• Experience tuning WAF rulesets, managing false positives, and maintaining policy hygiene.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud apps and services.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, DNS, and Zero Trust security models.
• Ability to author technical documentation and develop security standards and architecture designs.
