Description

Manage and secure network infrastructure through the deployment and maintenance of firewall platforms and associated security services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and support Cisco and Palo Alto firewall platforms, including Panorama and logging devices.
• Build and implement daily changes to firewall policies.
• Troubleshoot firewall-related issues and provide technical support for secure network infrastructure.
• Deliver post-deployment improvements and recommendations for firewall solutions.
• Support global projects and present security platform details to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of security experience managing Cisco and Palo Alto firewall platforms.
• Hands-on experience with L2-L4 networking, including L2 switching (Spanning Tree), IP routing (OSPF, BGP), and L4 load balancing.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, and QoS design.
• Experience with VPN encryption, VRF, MPLS, and network routing.
• Proficiency in managing secure access, intrusion prevention, and web/email content security.
• Working knowledge of cloud service provider networking architectures in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical skills for resolving complex multivariate problems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Cisco Security CCNP or Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) certification.
