Description

You will secure application delivery controllers and network infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a large inventory of application delivery controllers including F5, A10, AVI, and WAF solutions.
• Deploy and configure load balancers to ensure application uptime of 99.99% or higher.
• Troubleshoot complex network layer 1-7 issues and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Execute projects such as hardware upgrades, WAF application onboarding, and cloud migrations.
• Automate repeatable infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining application delivery controllers (F5, AVI, A10, Citrix, WAF).
• 4+ years of experience maintaining network appliances including switches, routers, firewalls, and proxies.
• 3+ years of experience automating network infrastructure tasks.
• 3+ years supporting cloud-native applications in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience securing applications via CDN security stacks such as Cloudflare or F5 XC.
• Advanced knowledge of HTTP, SSL/TLS encryption, DNS, switching, routing, and OWASP top 10 mitigation.
• Proficiency with F5 LTM, GTM (DNS), and ASM/AWAF.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Jenkins.
• Ability to document topology diagrams and MOPs for manual engineering tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with F5 SSLO, Shape Bot Protection, Akamai, or Imperva.
• Experience with cloud-native console tools in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
