Description

You will implement, operate, and optimize network security controls across on-premises and AWS environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and support secure network infrastructures across on-prem and AWS environments.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to network security incidents and alerts.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and change management.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across LAN, WAN, and Internet connectivity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with network security technologies.
• Expert administration of Fortinet (FortiGate) firewall policies, NAT, VPN, and routing.
• Expert administration of Palo Alto Networks firewall policies, App-ID, User-ID, and WildFire.
• Securing AWS environments including VPC design, subnets, route tables, and Security Groups.
• Experience deploying and managing FortiGate VM and Palo Alto VM-Series in AWS.
• Proficiency with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and VLANs.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and zero-trust network principles.
• Experience maintaining compliance with ISO 27001, SOC, or PCI standards.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years tenure in current or previous relevant roles.
