Description

You will configure, optimize, and maintain Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls, VPNs, and dynamic routing protocols while supporting Guardicore micro-segmentation initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and upgrade Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls, including policy implementation and rule optimization.
• Implement and manage dynamic routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Gather security requirements and design network security architectures.
• Assist in deploying Guardicore micro-segmentation for zero-trust environments.
• Produce clear documentation, including policy decisions, application flow maps, and Visio diagrams.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring CheckPoint or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Solid networking fundamentals, including deep understanding of TCP/IP and traffic flow.
• Experience defining, configuring, and optimizing firewall policies.
• Proficiency in configuring dynamic protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP).
• Ability to gather security requirements and design network security solutions.
• Strong understanding of security architecture and integration.
• Proficiency in Visio for diagramming and design documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Guardicore or similar micro-segmentation platforms.
