Description

You will design and maintain the organization's network security infrastructure, focusing on firewall configuration, policy optimization, and zero-trust implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and upgrade Palo Alto and CheckPoint firewalls and VPNs.
• Optimize firewall rules and define security policies on Palo Alto/CheckPoint devices.
• Configure dynamic routing protocols, including RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Assist in implementing Guardicore Micro-segmentation zero trust solutions.
• Gather network security requirements and design scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring CheckPoint or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Solid networking fundamentals with a deep understanding of TCP/IP and traffic flow.
• Proven experience defining, configuring, and optimizing firewall policies.
• Proficiency with BGP, RIP, and OSPF protocols.
• Strong understanding of security architecture and integration patterns.
• Proficient in Visio for diagramming and technical design documentation.
• Excellent documentation skills for policy decisions and application flow maps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guardicore Micro-segmentation or similar zero-trust platforms.
