Description

You will design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures across on-prem and AWS environments. You own the lifecycle of network security operations, from incident response to policy optimization.

Responsibilities

• Administer Fortinet (FortiGate) and Palo Alto Networks firewalls, managing security policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and content inspection.
• Secure AWS network architectures by designing VPCs, route tables, and managing Security Groups, NACLs, and cloud-based firewalls.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to network security incidents and alerts to maintain system integrity.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and change management while troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.
• Ensure network security controls meet organizational standards and support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC, and PCI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security operations and design.
• Hands-on administration of Fortinet (FortiGate) and Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking: VPC design, subnets, route tables, IGWs, NAT Gateways, and Security Groups.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and NAT.
• Experience implementing site-to-site and client VPNs between on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ability to manage firewall HA configurations, upgrades, patches, and backup/restore activities.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and zero-trust network principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC, PCI).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and the shared responsibility model.
